TASC Systems has long provided custom software development expertise and on-going development support to ensure our customers can integrate their radio networks into their enterprise’s operation. We recently updated a radio-sharing application originally developed for New Gold’s mine site in British Columbia. This application was developed to allow employees to share Hytera handsets. The software allows users coming on to their shifts to select from a pool of handsets and then automatically have their personal profiles loaded upon sign-in at a warehouse kiosk. The recent update provides additional kiosk user interface improvements and supports for a wider range of Hytera handsets. By utilizing TASC Systems’s custom software development capabilities and associated upgrade policies, New Gold was able to extend the life of the money-saving process as they upgraded Hytera handsets.
