The siteRSM remote monitoring system provides field personnel with the insight needed to determine if there is a problem with the radio site.

The siteRSM has been specifically designed to accommodate the low power requirements and backhaul technologies typically found with mountain top sites.

siteRSM - NEXEDGE™

The siteRSM interfaced with the Kenwood NEXEDGE™ portable and mobile NX series of radios provides a very effective method to backhaul the data. The NEXEDGE™ radios come with the capability to send serial data via the Kenwood transparent mode protocol to a central computer that is running siteVIEW Enterprise 2.0 monitoring and control software. The TASC siteRSM combined with the Kenwood NEXEDGE™ series radios provides a robust and cost-effective solution for remote monitoring applications.

TASC Systems has simplified the integration by documenting the connectivity and parameters for interfacing the siteRSM and NEXEDGE™ radios.

The siteCOMMANDER system by TASC Systems is an affordable industrial temperature-rated, robust, low power device that allows effective site monitoring and control in many industrial and commercial applications.

siteVIEW Enterprise is the interface software used to monitor and control networks of TASC Systems’ siteCOMMANDER and siteRSM hardware.

siteVIEW Enterprise gathers data from a network of siteCOMMANDERs and siteRSMs and presents it to the operator through a customizable graphical view of each site being monitored. Using the flexible client-server architecture, the data can be easily accessed by one or multiple operators. This allows each operator to monitor, control and be alerted to alarms from multiple locations across various systems.

siteWRX is a powerful software management tool that continuously communicates with remote sitePORTAL Lite unit(s) for alarm reporting and ongoing event logging by means of a modem(s) through the server’s COM Port(s). A pool of modems is used to provide the ability for simultaneous communication to multiple remote modules. Alarm information is gathered by siteWRX from the sitePORTAL Lite modules resulting in SNMP traps being generated and sent to the Network Operations Control Centre (NOCC).
